Early in 2005 is when The Underground Empire
was established...
The reason was simple, like many of the people you will find on
this website I had a clothing line... Needless to say after my friends bought my clothing sales seemed to drop.
Then I did what alot of people do to try and get some exposure for thier million
dollar idea. I gave away my clothing like I was a local celebrity in hopes of gaining loyal customers. However,
after getting myself into a hole I figured I wasnt making anything out of my clothing line. It certainly wasn't
that people did not like what I was making but that it wasnt being seen by nearly enough people.
The Rise of the Underground...
So I decided to make a website dedicated to getting exposure for
people like myself. Slowly but surely the clothing companies were submitting their websites and the Underground
was born. Meanwhile trying to keep it free for companies to join has been a hard fought battle including having to shut
down the website for a time in 2006. But as local clothing line websites have come and gone The Underground Empire is
here to stay.
The Rise of an Empire...
Since the beginning I have come across my fair share of interesting
people that are involved in the local clothing line scene. Many of which I have gotten a great deal of inspiration.
And I have learned to apply some of the ideas brought forth in the forms of The Black Market and Royal Studios.
The Black Market and Royal Studios are just two of the many things
that the Underground Empire has brought to the table to help in the exposure and sales efforts of local clothing companies
from around the world!
The Underground Empire is also working tward publishing
our own magazine and mail order catalogs. Though, the names of both are TOP SECRET for the time being, they are in the works!
